The cushioning stack combines structural EVA foam, pillow-soft sponge foam and an impact-absorbing EVA layer beneath the vegan-leather footbed. Fibre board and structure board support the fine cushioning stack above the rubber outsole. The assembly is pressure-bonded together.
The construction is machine-pressed to strengthen the adhesive bonds between layers. Heeled designs also use a bolted heel. The exact shape and construction vary by style.
